Car 853 at the Lakewood Park loop in December 1948. This was the only loop, per se on the system other than going around city blocks or town squares such as in Marietta and Stone Mountain. This loop was later wired for trackless trolley use but only for short turns at the park as the TC line was extended past the park to a loop on Stewart Ave.
