Postcard scene of British Columbia Electric Railway Birney streetcar 400 on display in the Heritage Court at the Provincial Museum in Victoria after restoration by museum employees. In 1990, the 400 was leased to Nelson for display. When the transportation museum was closed in 1992, Nelson became the permanent home for 400. The group in Nelson then began the refurbishment of 400 and by 2000 it was restored to operating condition to be operated along with Nelson Street Railway streetcar 23.
