Car 505 was purchased in 1924 and photographed by the company photographer in 1929 at the Third Ave Carbarn.
It was one of a group of 20 Cincinnati Car Co cars (501-520) 10 of which had their front platforms lengthened in a rebuilding program during the 1930s to give them double wide front doors and one man operation
At 51 feet 8 inches, these modified cars were among the longest urban cars of that era.
