3340 at Butler St Station on the Ashmont-Mattapan line. The overhead walkway along with the New Haven RR spur in background n longer exists. The entire Ashmont-Mattapan trolley line and the Red Line thru Fields Corner was taken over from the New Haven RR for conversion to its present form in 1928. This was a first for the Boston area. This was followed 30 years later by the conversion of the Riverside Line which had been a former New York Central RR Line.
