Ex-East Mass StRy 7000 class cars were bought by the Boston El along with the Revere and Chelsea Div. of the EMSR in 1936 and ran until 1949. They were renumbered in the 4400 series so as not to be confused with the 7000 class Center-Entrance trailers. The car is on Revere St. headed for the Revere Beach terminal. This car started at Maverick Station on the Blue Line and ran via Broadway in Chelsea to Revere St then to the Beach. Bradley and Wason Car Cos built these cars in 1927, and they were the premier interurban car on EMSR with leather seats and modern ceilings.
