Boston 5060 is now at the Seashore Trolley Museum where this picture was taken. Type 2 5060, was similar to the Type 3 cars but shorter and having only 2 motors in one truck.

Boston 5060 is now at the Seashore Trolley Museum where this picture was taken. Type 2 5060, was similar to the Type 3 cars but shorter and having only 2 motors in one truck. This car was converted to a compressor car for use in construction projects, such as the Revere extension of the Blue line over former BRB&L RR right-of-way. A couple of these cars were around into the late 50s . Now one is at Seashore TM (5060). The type 3 cars, built in 1906-07 served for many years as snow plows.
