Box motor 5 at Wheaton, coupled as usual to 15. This pair was used as a locomotive for the CA&E's usually very short freight trains. In 1953, somebody managed to get into the cars and run them off the end of the track, and they were damaged beyond repair. As a result, the CA&E bought two second-hand locomotives from the Crandic, 4005-4006.
