Rapid 171-180 series, built by Pullman-Standard in 1967, at the E 34th Station. Note the high-level platforms for the Rapid, low-level for the Shaker Heights Rapid Transit. Note the old grade going up to street level that carried the Cleveland Interurban Railroad cars to Broadway, thence downtown. The CIRR routing was changed to go direct to Cleveland Union Terminal in 1930.
