A northbound 3 car train heading up S. 5th Street towards S. Maple Street which is behind the camera. Combines always faced North when traveling to Milwaukee. Southbound in the distance we see a 1927 350 series St. Louis Car Co. streetcar heading towards its W. Oklahoma Ave. terminus. This picture was taken before 1951, as that is when the streetcars were taken off.
