Car 1830 is shown on the last day of service from Hartford to New Britain, April 25 1937. Here 1830 is a double-end car -- the 1822-1831 interurbans were rebuilt to double-end cars soon after their 1917 delivery. 1830 was assigned to the New Britain Division its entire life, and was transferred to CR&L in November 1936. After today, the high-speed Hartford-New Britain interurban line would be replaced by buses.
