The Branford Electric Railway paint job was the idea of the guy at BERA who refurbished the car in the 1950s, using the same logic that Gerry Brookins did at Trolleyville when he relettered all his CAandE cars as Columbia Park and Southwestern. 1339 was green for a short while, then was painted in its proper yellow paint scheme (photo nhct068) in the early 1960s. 1339s body is now a Spaghetti Warehouse, and its trucks and hardware are under ex-Waterbury car 1333 at BERA.
