Denver and Intermountain 1328 coal car in the yard next to the West End car house on June 22 1950, just after abandonment. This was home base to the coal trains which fed the powerhouse.
The brick building in the background was new -- it was a substation Denver Tramways built to convert commercial power for trolley coach use on Rt 13. abs.
The 1328-29-30-31 had a different truck design than the other cars, and, I believe, was one of the four cars used to haul the coal train prior to building the steeple c
