Freight loco 1619 with the Arrowhead Springs Water Train.
The PE operated on private right-of-way from Highland Ave, north on Mountain View to the foothills of the San Bernardino mountains to the Arrowhead Springs reservoir, within walking distance of the Arrowhead Springs Hotel.
At 40th St, the freight motor was reversed into a pusher position after apparently a water bottle (car) became uncoupled before the reversal process became SOP on the line. The loco came down the hill, no damage was done other than some torn up trackage and some red faced trainmen
