A heavy duplex lays over on the Everett St. side of the PSB as a TM 600 series car on Rt 37 passes. After service north of downtown on Rts 19 and 37 was converted to trackless trolley in March 1948, cars short turned and circled the Public Service Bldg before heading south again. The Cedarburg sign on the duplex was probably rolled up by a railfan as cars on the Port Washington line did not usually short turn at Cedarburg. At the time of this photo service between Milwaukee and Port Washington was provided by Greyhound Bus Lines. Rail service ended on March 28 1948.
