Official photograph of then Milwaukee Northern 80 taken on N 38th St, just outside of the Cold Spring Shops, a favorite site to record cars fresh from major rebuilding in 1925. The failing Milwaukee Northern was taken over in 1923 and operated by TM until absorbed in a final merger in 1928. Four cars were selected to be rebuilt from straight coaches into a more plush arrangement for new Limited Service on the Milwaukee -- Sheboygan line and the cars were renumbered 80 - 83. This is the first car released by the CS Shops.
