This Flatbush Av. Peter
Witt is on Court St. between Montague and Remsen Sts. In the background
are the Brooklyn Daily Eagle building, closer, and the General Brooklyn
Post Office, further. They both face on Washington St. Catty-corner from
the GPO at Tillary and Washington Sts. on the former site of the Sands
St. ("el" ) station in the general environs of the Brooklyn Bridge was
the terminal for the Flatbush Av. line.
