Birney 442 at the northern
terminal of the Adams Street line turning southbound onto Jefferson Street
from Adams Street on 3/27/46 - note the Monroe trolleybus overhead, which
continued further north for another 1-2 miles on Adams Street (substituting
for the Adams streetcar line when the State of Illinois rebuilt the street
without tracks in 1933).
