8132 on Rt 65 on 6th at Snyder before March 1953.

8132 was a subway surface line SER. [single end rebuilt] that had been in an accident. It was rebuilt at Kensington Shops, and towed to Luzerne for storage from west Philadelphia. From there, it was towed to the shops. On November 17 1951, it was assigned to Luzerne. It had been completely rebuilt and the car was then assigned to Luzerne for a while. This photo was taken on a Saturday, Sunday or Holiday, as those were the only days that SER cars ran on Rt 65. Owl cars were often SER cars
