On August 2 1946 outbound 1156 on the 42-Dormont is prepared to use the wye but first the operator uses the headway recorder on the line pole to send his arrival time. Inbound 1234 is stopping at the headway recorder to punch in his leaving time.
The 1AM to 530AM owl combined the 42- and 38-lines into 42/38; these cars went straight through instead of wyeing and used headway recorders on the 38 Mt Lebanon instead of these.
