PCC interurban 1716 pulls away from South Hills Junction outbound on May 29 1949. Not all 100 of the 1700-series cars were delivered as PCC interurbans -- behind 1716, city car 1763 is on the 42 Dormont and on the other track heading inbound is a 1601-series PCC interurban
