The "6 Masonic" Marmon-Herrington trolley bus is in front of the University of California Hospital on Parnassus Ave at 3rd in San Francisco probably taken right at the time trolley coach service began, likely June 16 1949. 684 was one of 80 buses in the 660-739 series which ran in San Francisco from 1949 to 1977.

Both of the hospital buildings are still there, though used as offices and laboratories rather than as hospitals (modern hospitals are connected to them by hallways). The UC hospital used to be associated with the University of California Berkeley campus, though at some point it became the University of California San Francisco (UCSF).

Trolley buses still run here, on the "6 Haight-Parnassus" line. The current line is on Masonic Ave. for only 2 blocks.
