In 1955 I travelled to Northern California for one of the final trips from Oakland on the SN. This trip used Sacramento Northern 1005 and Salt Lake and Utah 751, a parlor observation owned by the Bay Area Electric Railroaders Association, or a member or members thereof.
Both cars are now at the Western Railway Museum at Rio Vista Jct., on Highway 12 between Rio Vista and Fairfield, CA. That is a class operation worth visiting, whether or not you have ever been there before.
