This picture shows the gorgeously restored interior of ex-Chicago Aurora and Elgin 320.
Features like the stained-and-varnished mahogany walls, full empire ceiling and stained-glass windows were fully restored by MERM workers. Made mostly of wood, 320 was obsolete the day it was rolled out of the Jewett shop in 1914.
