Double-truck open car #1718 was built by Brill for Rio de Janeiro, and after retirement was brought to the United States.
It was acquired by the Midwest Electric Railway Museum from the Magee Trolley Museum in Bloomsburg PA when the latter museum collapsed in the mid-1970's after sustaining devestating hurricane damage.
