To facilitate transfers between lines, Kankakee trolleys met at the Court Street - East Avenue corner every 20 minutes. Car 23 is headed for West Kankakee. The car immediately behind is #30, one of two pre-Birney streetcars (#30 and #31) that the KER purchased from the St. Louis Car Company in 1916.
