Springfield Consolidated Railway single truck streetcar 91 was on lease by the Lincoln Street Railway for a special occasion where additional service was needed.
The streetcar was operated from Springfield late at night over the Illinois Traction System north to Lincoln, then hauled one block from an ITS spur to the streetcar trackage by a team of horses. The scene appears to be taken at the end of the fair grounds line.
