Known in local lore as the "cow wreck", #129 struck a cow which became lodged under the front truck two miles west of Winnebago.

129 was part of St. Louis Car Job 368, with contract date of Mar 13 1903; six cars for the Rockford and Freeport (IL), #121-131 (odd #'s), delivered 1903.

Cars were 46'-4" long with St. Louis 23 MCB trucks, 4 GE 57 motors, K35 control and 48 seats. This car passed to the Rockford and Interurban in 1927 and was scrapped shortly thereafter.
