Birney 505 is seen on the first day of operation.
The fleet of six Birney cars started their service on the MandB on March 19 1919.
By the end of the year, four of the six cars were sold to the Connecticut Company. The remaining two were sold in 1928 to York Utilities Company of Sanford ME.
