Iowa Terminal 102 (former CNS&M 727) just arrived at South Mason City and it looks like, with both poles up, the crew is switching ends.
Ed Allen, the Master Mechanic and operator of the railroad at that time is probably runing the car. The bus indicates some sort of fan trip.
The brown building in the background is the old ice house.  Ice cut in Clear Lake beside teh tracks used to be loaded in box cars and hauled to here.
It was stored in the ice house packed in sawdust, and dispensed in the summer.
