Bridge unit 162 on Route F exiting the Northbrae Tunnel with the end of the line is a few blocks away.
The tunnel and trackage were constructed by Southern Pacific for their Shattuck Ave Red Train route. Key System took over in 1941 and the trains ran until 1958.
